Careers

Work somewhere that backs you

This work is worth doing properly, and doing it properly requires being supported yourself. If you have been burnt out by rosters that treat you as interchangeable, we would like to hear from you.

What it is like here

We are deliberately building a small, well-supported team rather than the biggest workforce we can recruit. That shapes almost everything about how we operate.

Support workers are matched to participants on the basis of fit, not availability, and we keep those matches stable. You will know the people you support, and they will know you.

Because our therapists and support workers are in the same organisation, you are not left guessing what a behaviour support plan means in practice. The person who wrote it will show you.

  • Proper handoverYou get context before your first shift, not a name and an address.
  • Clinical backupAccess to our OT and behaviour support practitioners when something is not working.
  • Real supervisionStructured supervision for practitioners, including formal arrangements for those building towards higher capability levels.
  • Someone answers the phoneOn-call support that is an actual person who can make a decision.
  • Paid the award, properlyCorrect classification, correct penalties, paid on time. It should not be a selling point, but here we are.

Open roles

Who we are looking for

We accept expressions of interest year-round. Even when a role is not formally advertised, we would rather meet good people early.

Disability Support Workers

Casual and part-time across Melbourne. Personal care, community access, household support and skill building.

You will need: NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module, first aid and CPR, and a driver's licence with a reliable car for most roles.

Occupational Therapists

Community-based NDIS caseload with genuine autonomy over how you work and realistic billable expectations.

You will need: current AHPRA registration, NDIS Worker Screening Check, professional indemnity insurance, and a driver's licence. New graduates with good supervision arrangements are welcome to apply.

Behaviour Support Practitioners

Positive behaviour support with time to do the assessment properly, and supervision if you are working towards a higher capability level.

You will need: a current NDIS Commission practitioner suitability determination (or eligibility to obtain one), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and a driver's licence.

We want a workforce that looks like Melbourne

We actively encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and LGBTIQA+ people. If you need an adjustment at any stage of the recruitment process, tell us and we will make it happen. It will not count against you.
